Suman Golla

Suman Golla

Dr. Suman Golla is a former Associate Professor in the Department of Otolaryngology at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. She is also former Director of the University of Pittsburgh Physicians Ear, Nose and Throat Specialists’ office at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center (UPMC) St. Margaret Hospital. After graduating from Duke University in Durham, North Carolina with a Bachelor of Science degree, Dr. Golla received her medical degree from the University of Maryland in Baltimore. She then went on to complete an internship in general surgery and a residency in otolaryngology at the University of Pittsburgh. Dr. Golla has been published in numerous medical journals, including Pediatric Emergency Care, The Pediatric Infectious Disease Journal and Journal of Clinical Microbiology. She was a reviewer for Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery and Laryngoscope as well as being a frequent lecturer. A member of the American Academy of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery and the American Academy of Otolaryngic Allergy, among others, Dr. Golla is also a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. Her interests include general otolaryngology, head and neck cancer, snoring and sleep apnea problems, sinus and allergy and general pediatric problems.

Brandon Levine

Brandon Levine

Dr. Brandon Levine is a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh, receiving both his masters and doctorate degrees in Audiology. Dr. Levine completed his 4th year audiology externship at Washington Ear, Nose, & Throat in Washington, PA. During his externship, Dr. Levine received extensive training in both hearing and vestibular diagnostics, as well as hearing solutions. Dr. Levine graduated locally from Upper St. Clair high school before moving on to study Communication Sciences and Disorders at Penn State University. After receiving his Bachelor of Science from Penn State, his studies and clinical experiences at the University of Pittsburgh included working with pediatric patients at children’s hospital, completing diagnostic vestibular testing at UPMC, and working with the Veteran population at the VA Hospital of Pittsburgh. In addition, Dr. Levine was published for his work updating and revising both the college and high school versions of Time Out, I Didn’t Hear You, a guide for athletes with hearing loss. Dr. Levine is a member of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association, and is passionate about providing education, counseling, and hearing solutions to patients and families of all ages affected by hearing loss.

Akul Mitra graduated from the University of Pittsburgh in 2019. He received a Bachelor’s of Arts in Communication Science and Disorders and a Certificate in American Sign Language. During his time at Pitt, he focused on the intersection of medicine and language, studying speech language pathology, audiology, interdisciplinary health, linguistics, and culture. He served as an EMT in a variety of settings for the past seven years in the local area and is committed to furthering his education at Golla ENT. Akul Mitra works as a Medical Assistant and Staff Interpreter at Golla ENT. He is dedicated to serving the culturally Deaf Community and any other users of sign language.

Krystle Davidson has over 10 plus years of experience in professional Health care. As a Nursing assistant and medical technician at Allegheny General Hospital, Cedars of Monroeville, as well as LGAR Rehabilitation Center, she has provided patients with quality and exceptional one on one care. She has also spent her time doing in-home rehabilitation services and providing families with extra care and support. While working with families of patients in need, she has gained a stellar reputation over the years. She is excited to provide the same level of commitment and dedication to the patients seeking care at Golla ENT.
